The team films Sunset Drive in Moab, Utah!

In the beginning of September, TK Digital was in Moab, Utah for a week to film our newest car spot. We brought in crew from Japan, New York, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. We even got a helicopter and the Copter Kids from Reno to complete our team.

We spent long hours in the 100 degree deserts around Moab to get the exact shots we needed, and even escaped a flash flood! The spot turned out great and was worth every minute!

TK Digital participates in Praylist.jp, an event using the power of music to help Japan.

On April 10th, TK Digital streamed performances live from Brooklyn to benefit victims of the quake and tsunami. TK Digital collaborated with Japanese advertising agency Hakuhodo and numerous other production companies in Japan to stream live concerts on the website PrayList.jp for 24 hours, on the one month anniversary of the devastating earthquake. Viewers from around the world were able to access and view the concerts with a donation of any amount to the Japanese Red Cross. All the performances were also streamed in 10 evacuation shelters in Ofunato City, one of the hardest hit areas.

For their part, TK Digital headed over to Union Pool in Williamsburg, to stream Andy Maltz and Kris Parrish's benefit for Japan; an eight hour event featuring performances by The A-Bones, Naomi Shelton and The Gospel Queens, The Underthings and more.

TK Digital will be streaming another performance on May 10th, 11am - May 11th, 11am EST, May 11th 12am - May 12th 12am JST. Venue and performers are still TBD, so please check back at PrayList.jp around that time to support Japan and enjoy great music!

mmbi / A More Fun World

"A More Fun World" is a promotional video produced in anticipation of Multimedia Broadcasting's new Multi-media Broadcasting Service for Mobile Devices, scheduled to commence in spring 2012. This service is an all-new kind of media, with potential in many areas.

The white box in the video represents the various hardware compatible with mmbi's service. We chose the box in order to avoid limiting ourselves to one specific device. With so many possible devices, including cellular telephones, smart phones, tablet computers, and laptop computers, the box represents the limitless possible ways to receive mmbi content.

Fall Wins for "The Players"!

TK Digital's original short film, The Hirosaki Players , has picked up two more awards: Best Narrative Short at The Woodstock Film Festival, and Best Short at The Beijing International Movie Festival! Earlier this summer, the film won at Gen Art and Sonoma International, garnering an IFP audience award and the IMAX Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking Award along the way.

U2 "No Line on the Horizon"

TK Digital was proud to produce the music video for U2's "No Line on the Horizon," in collaboration with the band and famed Japanese photographer Sugimoto Hiroshi. The video comprises photos from Mr. Sugimoto's "Seascapes" series, which inspired the song in the first place. Read more
